At Bath Racecourse, under 18's are permitted free entry to most of our fixtures when they are accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. There aren't many places you can take the kids for free, so make the most of this amazing deal and enjoy a day of racing fun with the whole family. Many of our fixtures also provide free attractions such as funfair rides, bouncy castles and face painting so there's more than enough to keep the kids entertained.
On family fun days, there will be free family entertainment to enjoy and often a fun theme for the kids. Previously, entertainment has included inflatables, face painting, Go-Karts, Derby Hoppers and fun fair rides all included in the days ticket price. This is of course alongside an action-packed day of racing for the whole family to enjoy.
At the end of 2018, Bath Racecourse was announced the winner of the Best Event at the Racecourse Association Showcase Awards for our ‘Kids Takeover Racing’ family fun day. Described as a fantastic opportunity for young people to discover more about the racecourse, children involved got to try out TV presenting, commentating and photography.
