Leading horse racing tipsters myracing.com are pleased to announce they will be holding their very own Cheltenham Festival Preview evening at Bath racecourse on Monday 5th March 2018. Entry on the night will be completely free and all proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Injured Jockeys Fund.
It promises to be a very informative and fun evening with a star-studded panel lined up. Hosting the show will be At The Races presenter Tony Ennis. Tony has worked in the racing industry all his life and is also one of the sports leading commentators.
Trainer Nicky Henderson is lucky enough to have many of the favourites for the big races at Cheltenham in his yard. Buveur D’Air is expected to successfully defend his crown in the Champion Hurdle and Altior, who has won his last twelve races will be a warm order in the Queen Mother Champion Chase. Charlie Morlock has been assistant to Nicky Henderson for many years now and myracing.com are delighted to have secured his appearance on their panel for the evening. Nobody spends more time with the Henderson stars on a daily basis than Charlie and his thoughts on their current well-being will be enlightening.
Also appearing will be Gold Cup winning jockey Andrew Thornton. In 1998 he rode Cool Dawn to victory in the showpiece event of the festival, springing a 25/1 shock in the process. He is one of the few jockeys to ride 1,000 winners in his career and now also appears regularly on ITV Racing and At The Races.
Completing the panel will be two rising stars of the sport in amateur jockey Zac Baker and conditional jockey Tom Humphries, while head of PR for myracing.com Dean Goddard will provide all the latest betting tips and information.
Among the prizes on offer in the raffle will be tickets for the Cheltenham Festival, VIP tickets that include a three-course meal at both Bath and Worcester racecourse, free bets and a stable tour of the Nigel Twiston-Davies yard.
Doors open at 6pm with the preview set to start at 7pm. There will be food and drink available to purchase on the night, so do try to arrive early for what promises to be a fantastic night.
