Bath Racecourse is delighted to announce that the Human League will be performing live after racing on Saturday 14 September 2019.
Human League’s Susan says: “We’re peculiar… People think pop music is X Factor and S Club 7 and we’re still hankering after a Roxy-Bowie-Donna Summer-Chic version of pop...We shouldn’t have gone on this long as we have – we should have ‘gone rock’ by now, like Depeche Mode, Simple Minds and U2 did. But we’re still a pop group.
“But hey, not just a pop group – possibly the last great pop group. Believe.”
Executive Director of Bath Racecourse, Jo Hall said, “Human League are one the most influential pop bands of the 80s and everyone – whatever their age – knows the bands number 1 hit ‘don’t you want me’. After the success of having UB40 and James Blunt perform here, we can’t wait to have Human League live after racing on Saturday 14 September. I‘m sure they are going to rock the racecourse!”
Tickets go on general sale on Monday 17 December at 10am here. Tickets will be priced from £30 and will increase come new year, so be an early bird and book first! A day out not to be missed.
