Bath Racecourse is excited to announce that Kazabian, the UK’s best Kasabian tribute act, will play live after racing on Friday 3 August.

The popular Cider Racenight at Bath already has Bristol’s the Carny Villains on the line-up, as well as Bristol based circus performers Circus Uncertainty, who will add to the evenings entertainment with circus acts and a fire show.

The announcement coincides with a recent announcement by Kasabian, who will play Bristol’s 02 Academy on Wednesday 20 June.

Bath Racecourse Executive Director, Russell Smith said “After the huge success of Oasis and Stone Roses tribute band performances we recently made the decision to add Kazabian to the line-up in August.

“Their sound is brilliant and it’s set to be an incredible night’s entertainment with the Carny Villains and Circus Uncertainty performing as well as a full fixture of live races.

“We can’t believe that Kasabian are coming to the South West as well and are excited to see them at the 02 Academy. I’m sure there will be a bit of ‘Kasabian fever’ in the air and hopefully those who miss out on seeing Kasabian in Bristol will take advantage of the next best thing in Bath just a few weeks later.”

The Cider Racenight will take place on Friday 3 August with the Carny Villains playing before racing at approximately 4pm, continuing after racing at approximately 8.15pm. Their set will be followed by Kazabian with a set of up to 90 minutes.

In celebration of Kasabian playing in Bristol and in tribute to their 2014 hit album 48:13, tickets for the raceday will be available for the first 48 hours and 13 minutes for only £15, starting on Friday 8 June at 10am - after which tickets will be available for only £20 in the early-bird sale until the end of June.
