Here's some useful information to help racegoers get the most from their time at Bath Racecourse’s Lansdown Live presents Britpop, Friday 7 June.

TIMES

Gates open at 3.30pm. There are seven exciting races taking place starting from 5.35pm. The last race is at 8.50pm. The live music will take place straight after the last race and the event finishes at 11.00pm. 

WEATHER

Tonight’s race fixture will be going ahead as planned. The forecast is for rain this morning that will ease to give some brighter spells with showers this afternoon. Tonight’s music performance is also scheduled to go ahead as planned. There’s no dress code for general admission at Bath so please dress appropriately for the weather!

CENTRE COURSE ENCLOSURE

Due to the inclement weather forecast, please be aware that the Centre Course Enclosure will be closed tomorrow.

FOOD & DRINK

A range of bars and food outlets are available serving hot and cold food and drink. Food and drink cannot be brought into the racecourse.

RACING

There are seven races taking place starting from 5.35pm and finishing at 8.50pm. A total of 75 runners have been declared to compete. The going is currently: Firm.

LIVE MUSIC

The live music will start straight after the last race. Blurd will be on first at 9.00pm followed by Definitely Oasis. The music is due to finish at 10.45pm and the bars will close at 11.00pm. 

HOW TO FIND US

We're located north of Bath City centre and are easily accessed from Bristol and the M4.

There is a shuttle bus service to the racecourse from Manvers Street, adjacent from Bath Spa train station. The first bus leaves the station at 3.30pm and runs until 6.00pm. The return bus departs from the racecourse at 8.30pm and runs until 11.15pm. Tickets cost £5.00 per person.

FREE PARKING

Parking at the racecourse is free.

Cars can only be left overnight in designated areas only (and at your own risk). You must alert the parking attendant to avoid being towed. 

DRESS CODE

There is no formal dress code for public areas of the racecourse, however most racegoers opt for smart-casual dress.

A smart dress code applies if you are in a hospitality area and there's a smart-casual dress code if you have a Roof Garden ticket.

SECURITY

We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.

Sniffer dogs will be present as a reminder that illegal drugs and substances are prohibited from being brought into the racecourse and we take a zero-tolerance stance.

Please be patient and limit the bags you bring. Remember, no food or drink can be brought into the racecourse.

We ask all racegoers to not leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.
