Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Hannah Chree as Executive Director at Bath Racecourse.
Hannah moves to Bath following seven years at Royal Windsor Racecourse, latterly as the General Manager. During her time at Royal Windsor Hannah has oversaw a number of major racedays and events, as well as the preparations for the reintroduction of jump racing in December 2024.
In the role of Executive Director, Hannah will be responsible for delivery of the overall strategy of Bath Racecourse and its busy summer racing season as well as the conference and events business that continues year round.
Bath Racecourse, which completed a multimillion-pound redevelopment in 2016, is scheduled to host 19 fixtures throughout the upcoming season, with highlights including the Listed Whitsbury Manor Stud/British EBF Landsdown Stakes in April and the British Stallion Studs EBF Beckford Stakes later in the year.
ARC Regional Operations Director, Phil Bell, said, “We are delighted that Hannah has agreed to take on the role of Executive Director at Bath Racecourse. Over her years at Royal Windsor, she has gained an excellent understanding of how busy summer racecourses operate, and how to offer racegoers and customers a fantastic experience.”
Hannah Chree said, “I am thrilled to join Bath Racecourse ahead of the 2025 season and recognise that this is a really exciting opportunity to build on the work done by my colleagues to grow the business, especially since the redevelopment in 2016.
“I would also like to thank all of my colleagues at Royal Windsor. Achieving Racehorse Owners Association Gold Standard, delivering the return of jump racing to Windsor after almost twenty years in December and January’s inaugural Berkshire Winter Million were real highlights of my time there.”
